The book (in English) outlines a symposium on the theme “Designing – Constructing – Building” held in October 2006 at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg (Virginia, USA). The architectural historian Markus Breitschmid invited Beat Consoni, Meinrad Morger, Valerio Olgiati and Heinz Wirz to participate. The book uses text, images and plans to document the thematic presentation of recent projects by the three architects, and includes introductory lectures by Heinz Wirz and Markus Breitschmid.
