Most of the high-quality buildings developed since 2006 by Meinrad Morger and Fortunat Dettli are skilful, accomplished declinations of tasks in a rough urban climate. For instance the extended Perron 1 building in Solothurn (2009) is a single gesture that gives the structure a calming influence in the midst of the busy railway activity.
